Brazil coach Wagner Coppini: We managed to play very fast today. However, the players felt some pressure as it was their first match. This may be a reason for our eight reception errors.
Brazil captain Rosamaria: We played much better than in our last match against Colombia at the South American Championship. Our concentration and focus was excellent today.
Colombia coach Eduardo Guillaume: Brazil is a good team and played well today. We’re also a good team, but we need to learn how to play better and that’s what we will be focusing on throughout this tournament.
Colombia captain Maria Alejandra: Brazil is a strong team and we learnt a lot today where we will apply this experience for the future games in the tournament.
