We improved our offense – Brazil captain Rosamaria

Ankara, Turkey, August 15, 2015 – Brazil survived in a long battle 3-1 (30-28, 16-25, 25-19, 25-20) against Italy to take a promising option for a semifinal ticket in Pool A. Find out more about the coach’s and player’s review of the game.

Brazil coach Wagner Coppini: We managed to improve our serves in the second part of the match what was one of the key factors for our win today. It was an important win as it gave us our self-confidence back.

Brazil captain Rosamaria: Our offense started to work well in the third and fourth set what helped us a lot.

Italy coach Luca Cristofani: We played an outstanding game in the first two sets. As Brazil started to serve and block better, we couldn’t keep the same rhythm. My players are still young and have to learn how to deal with this kind of pressure.

Italy captain Sofia D’Odorico: We committed to many errors in reception and attack towards the end of the match.
