Japan coach Abo Kiyoshi: All of our players are playing better compared to the beginning of the tournament. Our teamwork and cooperation is really good. Japan player Arisa Inoue: We are playing better and better every day. We want to win a medal. To reach that goal we will do our best. Semifinals will be very tough. And there will be a very strong audience in the hall. We have to deal with it.

Peru assistant coach Martin Escudero: We had a big concentration problem in last two games. Today it was very obvious. In the beginning of the sets we were competitive but after that point Japan made a big difference. We lost against a very strong team.

Peru player Andrea Urrutia: We are a young team. We lost our concentration very quickly. That is why we fell behind against good teams. We are very sorry.
