China coach Xu Jiande: I’m satisfied with the win. We weren’t good enough during the first set as it was a warm up, but we recovered and played a better volleyball.
China player Song Meili: We observed the first set and prepared for the remaining sets and played powerful reacting quickly.
Peru coach Natalia Malaga: We started off well but couldn’t take the game further, the last set we had 7 errors.
Peru captain Clarivett Yllescas: We made a lot of mistakes especially on the final set, we had concentration issues which set us back.
