Ankara, Turkey, August 17, 2015 – Titleholder China concluded preliminary round play at 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U23 World Championship with their fourth win, defeating Cuba in less than one hour 25-6, 25-8, 25-8 on Monday evening. China finish third in Pool B with the same amount of points (12) than Dominican Republic and Japan but an inferior set ratio (12-6 to 13-4).

It was a one-sided affair in the duel between titleholder China and Cuba. After two sets, the Chinese led the offense with 27 kills to Cuba’s seven. The Caribbean did their best to resist but couldn’t stop the powerful Asians (25-6, 25-8).

Things didn’t change in the third and last set. China cruised to an undisputed 25-8 set and stress-free 3-0 match win.
